While this can mean simply selecting a floor plan that has already been designed, most times it does not, for more serious contemplations are often afoot. This is why our customers have the option of picking from pre-designed plans, of adapting a plan to taste, or to start from scratch using our Custom Design option. While the idea of of paying for design work might sound incredibly expensive, it only adds about $1,500 to the cost of the average home we manufacture. Every dollar is important, but when it comes to bang for the buck, the design dollar spent provides great value. Look over some of our pre-designed plans and see if you can find any features that you like. After that read up on the Design Process to see what is involved. Then, get out that sketch pad and get to work! |
