RippleCraft makes an assortment of log siding products in a number of different profiles. The sidings that we produce are made to match our full-log products, so the siding itself does appear to be full-log. RippleCraft also offers several different cornering options for you to choose from.

We feel that we offer as fine a product as you will find anywhere, and here is why.
  • Bleedless White Pine will not produce pitch on southern or western exposures.
  • We use only carefully Kiln dried stock that will twist less and install easier after milling and will also shrink less after installation.
  • Thicker siding profiles provide for a more realistic log look because round logs aren't flat.
  • Four cornering options to choose from, including an "interlocking" option for the tightest fit in the industry.
  • Rippled joinery makes the siding easy to install and provides a tighter fit than regular tongue and groove profiles
  • Available with either a smooth mill or Draw Knife appearance
  • Varying length of stock up to 16 feet reduces the number of butt-joints.
Most log siding is manufactured with cost as the primary factor. The problem with this is that the easiest way to produce an inexpensive product is to skimp on materials and processing. That works just fine where plastic can replace metal, or where the object you are buying is never examined closely. In the log siding business cheap has always been available. Unfortunately, cheap in siding always means a compromise on materials and processing.

Half-Log SuperSiding is available in 12", 10" and 8" profiles and can be ordered from either Eastern White Pine or Western Red Cedar stock. Quarter-Log Siding is available in both 8" and 6" widths and comes from 2" stock.

*To determine the amount of siding you will need use the formula in the right hand column. Take the square footage of the area you would like to cover, and then multiply this amount by the number in column 7. Example: If you have 1,000 square feet of wall that you want to cover with 8" Super Siding, multiply 1,000 by 1.7. This equals 1,700 lineal feet necessary for the job.
